Description
He doesn't hurt humans but he loves teasing, playing, messing, tormenting, and tricking with humans in a voracious/predator-like way. He’s sorta the equivalent of an obnoxious and endearing teenager, but a little more respectful.
To him eating/digesting humans alive is too barbaric for him; he can’t kill a living creature. And besides, he HATES blood, he hates the taste of human blood.
He likes to lick humans, put them in his mouth or even swallow them whole and alive; to him they’re more like toys than food. He enjoys the taste of humans and feeling and keeping them around in his mouth and/or in his stomach for a while. But he never hurts them for he’s capable of controlling his digestive juices, but he never told the humans about it, he just loves to scare them.
After when he’s done with his rough playtime with the humans, he releases them. But first, he uses a sleeping spell and then he brings them back to their home territory safely, that makes humans think they have a bad dream.
He loves to play the predator, he just loves the expressions of the humans. He especially loves to tease and mess with his foster human niece.
Despite his childish act, Hugene always loves and cares for kids, both Giant and human, especially his human niece, Hope. He’s willing to do whatever he can to protect Hope. And swallowing her is his way of making sure she's safe.
Hugene is also quite the prankster. He really likes to play practical jokes on people he knew. He also occasionally likes to prank his older brother, Gian.
But alongside Hugene is someone who literally never left his side, he almost always follows him wherever he goes and he's extremely loyal to him. It's his dog and best friend, Glomp.
Hope is too embarrassed to admit to anyone, even to her father that she really enjoyed her uncle's belly, she always gets her best sleep there. And a pillow and blanket is nothing compared to sleeping on a warm tummy. And if anyone asks, she'll just deny deny deny.
Hugene has this special ability. Levi thought Hugene on how to neutralize magic in his belly but this is something he learned on his own. Whenever he swallows a magical creature and neutralizes their magic in his stomach, he borrows/is granted that creature’s magical ability, for example, if he swallows a dragon, Hugene can breathe fire and he will give them back when he spits them back out.
